Solar Powered Plane ‘Solar Impulse’ Makes Maiden Flight

Solar Impulse HB-SIA, an emissions free solar powered aircraft, made it’s maiden flight on Wednesday. Test pilot Markus Scherdel flew the plane from a military airport in Payerne, Switzerland.
